About Dominic
Dominic’s education began on a job site. As a young boy, he shoveled cement on his grandfather’s construction sites in the UK and stood beside his uncle as ground-up projects rose across England.
After graduating from Fairfield University in Connecticut he built and sold an award-winning commercial energy firm across DC, MD, PA, NJ, and DE, delivering energy efficient retrofits across ~20,000,000 square feet of commercial space and structuring them around utility rebates, green incentives, PJM capacity markets, and Section 179D tax incentives. Thereafter, he scaled a Washington, DC property management operation to ~80,000,000 under management in ~10 months, and sold again.
Beyond the conventional purchase and sale, Dominic has flipped properties, held them, refinanced after rehab, and closed with seller financing, lease options, and acquired or taken over debt. His own capital has been in the deal — financed with hard money, private capital, DSCR investment loans, and conventional debt. Whether the path to closing is conventional or creative, he has walked it with something to lose. That changes the counsel and the negotiation on behalf of his clients. Property investment/ownership has taught him what agent representation alone cannot.
He is a husband, an ultra runner, and a former professional and Division I athlete. He negotiates without theater, names the problem, and will not dress a weak deal in good language. He believes the work that counts is the work no one sees.
